Here I come with the review of EK, the latest thriller starring Boby Deol. The storyline is quite old, matching slightly with Baadal & to a great extent to Tumko Na Bhool Payenge (Salman's flop).
Ek is the story about a professional shooter (Bobby Deol) who kill people on contract basis. He get the assignment to shoot at a leader, but not killing him so that he can get sympathy votes. But the situation turns & the leader is shot dead on his forehead. The "akela" hero is held responsible & he runs away in a train where a boy is killed by the police while shooting our hero. That boy was returning home after 18 years since he ran away from his home in childhood. Th
e hero, when reaches the dead boy's home to tell them the news, is misunderstood as their son & he tries to fulfill all the responsibilities of their son. He also fell in love & was totally a changed man now.
But CBI (Nana Patekar) reaches the village & tries to catch him. His family, after knowing his truthfullness & transformation, accepts him as their family member. Then he come back to city, proves himself innocent & returns back to the village where his new family was waiting for him eagerly. Nana leaves him seeing his transformed heart.
The story is not new but the screenplay is good. Direction is tight & you hardly get bored. Special effects are worth watching, specially the fight sequences in the village. Bobby is looking good in the movie, thanks to the stylers. Heroin had nothing much to do, except singing a song or two where needed.
Music is good, the action sequences feel exciting when mixed with cool music.
When we talk of cinematography, its awesome. The first seen of the movie where a teenage boy does a murder is great. Script is not very impressive.
Nana amuses while trying to lure even the maids.
Overall, movie comes in "good" category & you will enjoy watching it.
